New step for experiential expertise in Curaçao

At Green Recovery Space, another group of professionals has completed the postgraduate program in Experience-Based Expertise. They are part of a growing Caribbean movement and are contributing to the development of the recovery workshop that will open soon.
During the training, offered in collaboration with Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, the ten new experts learned how to use their personal experiences with life's challenges to support others in recovery, regaining balance, and reshaping their lives.
In addition, four participants completed a follow-up program to become Basic Trainer & Facilitator, which allows them to train future experts by experience and thus further professionalize the field.
During an inspiring gathering, the participants showcased their creative side. Using music, poetry, spoken word, theater, and painting, they took the audience on a journey through their personal stories: how they got stuck, but also how they rediscovered their direction, balance, and meaning.
We are proud of all the participants and look forward to working together to build a movement that offers people who are stuck the space, support, and confidence to experience recovery and meaning at their own pace.
